Finding Home in the Unknown
Familiar Strangeness
Reflecting on the evolution: How the once strange becomes integral to our lives
It was a beautiful sunny London evening. After an unproductive day filled with uncertainty, I left the room and got some fresh air.
As it says on Rick and Morty, After a week rife with the fetor of sin, I yearn for a taste of nature :P.
I was walking by the South Quay footbridge without any specific direction, as the serene South Dock flowed alongside towering skyscrapers, creating a visual symphony.
The glass buildings reflected in the dock looked like a portal to an enchanted world, tempting the viewer to explore its magic.
Yet, I was lost in my thoughts and walking without absorbing the scenic beauty around me!
Suddenly I was interrupted from my auto-pilot mode! I thought I would take a moment to be situationally aware.
I observed a flock of pigeons pecking away at the food generously scattered by compassionate passersby.
There is something about the pigeons. Watching their carefree life for a few seconds suddenly made me get out of my thoughts and be fully aware of the surroundings.
