What if I am not good enough? What if I fail?
What if I get hurt?
Life is filled with questions that destroy your peace before you dare to take any step.
Human beings restrain themselves with rules learnt from mistakes instinctively.
This helps us survive in so many ways.
For example, when we see fire, we know it will hurt us.
The issue happens when we apply the same restrictions on our abilities, emotions and aspirations.
Imagine when you’re starting to learn something difficult.
- It didn’t make any sense in the beginning, even after spending all day/all year, and you don't have anything to show for it.
- The people around you made fun of you for being an idiot.
- Some people feel ashamed and guilty.
- Some people blame the weather or anything to get away from their emotions.
Thus, a memory is printed in the brain and you imagine this is an impossible challenge.
